Dayco makes/sells/distributes the crummiest belts. Makes no difference what type.

after 1600 miles, the only symptom of wear I can detect is that I can only get 47mph, I used to be able to get 49mph out of my 450i

In my years of experience with cvt belts, the factory belt has always given the best life. Like anything you can get a bad one, but factory is normally best.  Mine has been rode hard, not abused but 800 miles and still strong

That is amazing, most go around 2000 then consider replacing

Geeez and to think I just took a 100 mile trip one way to Lancaster and back with my lady on the back. It didn’t want to past 49 mph lol so I’m starting to look into clutch and belt replacements. It has been jittering too at take off. But I throttle my baby, she likes it rough [emoji23]🤟🏼

I don’t drive a lot of miles but a lot of it is steep grades. My dealers technician told me to go in low 4wd to help the belt not wear.
