Small town, back roads

I did have an errand to run, into the outback, and remembered to take along the camera.

#1 is looking down on our 'Big Valley'.
#2 is overlooking a smaller, secluded valley full of mini-ranchos for people devoted to their horses.
#3 is just a bystander...
(I rode past him, turned around, and pulled right up to him when I took the pic. He wasn't impressed. Just now it dawned on me, with a quick movement, he probably could have got me through that fence! )

This new pic looks promising, MJR, doesn't it ?

I should spend more time learning how to take better travelling pics that are fun for others to see.
Perhaps even learn how to create, and post videos.
I need more projects !

Can anyone advise a good mc video tutorial ?

Mr Paul, it is my very first operational scooter...
(I went for a single hop on the People 250 when we got it running, then decided further work would be necessary.)

With that as my qualifications, I like the Helix. I had wanted to try one since the first time I saw one, years back. It seems substantial, almost comfortable, ( I'd like another 4". ), and just a little bit soft.
The storage feature is great to have, and I have not yet even stocked it with bungees.
It seems that I cruise at 45 to 50 mph and I did have a couple opportunities to run it at 65 mph.  All good, yet I prefer the lower speed.
In town, I prefer it to the Vulcan Classic we took apart to repair valve train components.

My Helix is taxi cab yellow, so I am a courteous and cheerful operator where everyone in the city traffic can certainly see me !
There really should be other scooters and mopeds in my two horse town.
It is difficult for me to understand why everyone does not have one...

When I am able to figure how to carry fishing rods on the Helix, I'll be a happy camper !

I hear ya Red, especially about being courteous. Helix riders really stand out from the crowd so I have to really behave nicely on my regular route. Chances are too good those folks will see me again! It is an added burden scooter riders have, we cant just fade into motorcycle anonymity.

When you said outback I thought you were referring to Australia. I did not think you are in the Cali.  The
last picture looks like a Texas Longhorn.

Bought 6' pole /reel combo Malwart....equip it, break down 2 pcs, bungee across rear of seat, tackle box, bait, coffee, grub in top case. Fished several times with my LIKE200I  this way.
Usually catch squatt at my reservoir....but remain eternally hopeful.....
Is it called "scishing"?....

When I do take the time to go further out the back road I'll try not to forget pics of the emus.
Yes, we have emu ranchers here.

I've been surprised to see bison, also.
