What caused this LIKE crash?

What did he do wrong here. I can't see it.
Do not see him grabbing the front brake. Slick surface, too much speed, grabbed the rear brake?
Due to language and rambling issues - do yourself a favor and skip to 2:09 on this video of a LIKE and the gopro of his crash.....
Otherwise - utterly useless video.
Looking at his rear brake lever, seems he put it down on that side at some point as well.

Looks as though he hit a slippery patch for road. I've done this, but fortunately was able to keep the scooter under control. It's sudden and your left scratching your head over the loss of traction.

Some gravel on the road would cause a slide like that. Looks like there is some water coming from the outside curb area but not enough to cause that slide

Agreed. Hit a bad patch in the road and lost his front tire grip. Watched it in slow-mo.

Did you notice he wasn't wearing gloves.

Gloves won't help much if they are easy to take off.
Motorcycle glove are finally secured at the wrist to keep them on in an off.
Most common leather work gloves can't do this.
They look tough but are easily yanked off.
