Looks like I'm ordering the Bestem T Box 2008 for my P200. The price is very reasonable at 49.95 with backrest and mounting kit. Had a larger Bestem on my Burgman Exec. and was very pleased. It's not quite as nice as the Givi V46 on my SW but for the price it's good quality and functional. Storage on the P200 is paltry compared to the SW so this will help allot for those items I pick up in town doing errands, picking up groceries and beer. Update: just ordered from Bestem and free shipping too.

I'm sure that's what the Police say, lol. Reminds me of the candy apple red of my first scooter a Honda Helix I had.

Bestem TBox 2008 arrived yesterday and took about 10 min. to install. For 50 bucks and free delivery from Bestem USA, it's good value. Had the Bestem 929 2012 on my Burgman and liked it too. The top box, in my opinion, is perhaps one of the most essential pieces of gear for a scooter. The underseat storage on these big wheel scoots is horrible so this is a huge improvement. Took the bike to town today and it's so nice having the extra storage now.

I thought the Bestem 929 was too big for the back of my LIKE200i - hesitated a long time before I ordered it from Bestem & then took me awhile to get used to the look of it!

But the main reason I wanted it - & the thing I love about it - is the added rear running & brake lighting it gives my scooter.I feel much safer in traffic with all those lights back there. Very good value, as well. I don't overload it....but the capacity is there if I need it.

I think it is the best $100 safety modification one can add to a scooter.
Just my 2 centimes...
BTW - very nice pair of scooters!

I like the look of your 929 on your scooter Stig, especially the lighting. I had a problem with the lighting on my 929 as one side went completely out. The darn wires on the Bestem boxes is so thin that it's no wonder. Had considered buying some Admore lighting but ended up selling the Burgman. Glad to hear yours is working and looks really nice too.

Well guys, when I pulled my SW ad from CL, I left the Kymco ad up and may have a buyer for it. If it does get sold, I hope you guys don't mind me hanging out here as my last motorcycle forum found me apples and oranges with Goldwings. I'm a scooterist at heart and like to have something in common to chat about.

Something else too, I'm really impressed with Kymco quality as experienced with my P200. I can see myself owning another one but something a bit larger in the 250-300cc class. Something about riding the shoulder of the road with my Kymco bothered me some,  so keeping up with 70mph traffic is important to me.

Please stick around and keep adding to the discussions. Maybe some day you'll find the right Kymco again.

A realtor contacted me yesterday from Ft. Worth and wants to buy my 2010 Kymco People S200. Have an appt. to meetup at a stadium where he can test ride it. Offered to deliver it so looks like my tenure with my Kymco is short lived however not over as I may get another later. My truck needs the bed replaced for my business as I need a flat bed for my construction business. So therefore the sale of the Scooter. Plan to hang around as I ride my SW and enjoy our stories and tales of scooter Nirvana.

Buyer backed out as I never transferred title in my name as I was trying to flip the Kymco and registration ran out in 2014. So looks like I'm going to have to transfer and buy tags which I was trying to avoid. Looks like I'm keeping the Kymco a bit longer now.

Hey Dan, I have the exact same Kymco scooter and have been thinking about a top box...but I'd like one that can be easily removed, if necessary. I mainly need it for beer runs..as I can only fit 1 6 pack of bottles under my seat! Is the install and brake light hook up very straight forward? Any guess as to how many 'beverage' 6 packs fit in the top box?

Love to see some more pics, if you have them! thanks.

Probably (4) six packs of cans and 2 with long necks. Sorry no pics of interior but can include some tonight.
