« on: May 29, 2010, 06:10:20 AM »
just found a bunch of videos of the new myroad (test drives) and nikkita  the end of the video gives you a good idea of how it sounds.... sounds kind of electric to me lol.  I can't believe the little ladies driving it..... 5 foot and 89 pounds driving a bike 10 times there weight and size!!

700cc's I would buy a motorcycle. Just my preference.

If you spend many hours per week in stop and go traffic, a 700cc with CVT becomes very attractive.

Most of my riding is in-town, lights and speed limits moving between 25-45 mph. There are a lot motorcycles in town, too, and I here them constantly changing gears. I don't miss that at all. I do miss not being able to bold on hard side cases.  Every now and then I do rides where the speed limit hits 60ish mph, and I could get up on I-95 and do 70, but I'd rather do that with a 700cc scoot than my 500. It they put a CVT on a 700cc+ motorcycle, I might consider one.

..can't imagine hauling all that weight around...

They already exist, for 3 years.

I do not know if you ever drove big motorcycles (>220 kg), but if you are of average or above average built / height, there is no much difference to driving a small scoot, even while splitting lanes etc.

The only exception to this rule, I think, are sportsbikes... they kill me after 30 kms...

They don't sell the Gilera in the US. I've seen the Mana. I don't like it very much. Ah, well. :-)

I guess some of us are true Scooterist and some are not.I love scoots of every size and as such would buy this baby in a heart beat. The 700 would be perfect for those out of town trips. This thread was started to show off the Kymco 700 not to be taken over by,I'd rather buy a motorcycle. There are plenty of forums for those that would rather have a motorcyle but this thread is for talking about the K700.I say bring it to the US now.
