Fix Tire flatted

Dear,

I have 2013 Kymco Agility 125. One month ago, I found a metal nail at the rear tire. After it was removed by me, the rear tire has been flatted (no air because of a lock).

As DIY, whoever could give me a help: how to fix it by myself? I tried to google it but I have not found any information so I come here to look for help.

What he said, except I wouldn't think twice about using that as a permanent fix. In fact, I have one in my rear tire right now. Been there for over a year.

I had my previous scooter tire repaired with that technique.. wasnt even necessary to unbolt and that thing worked for 3 months and about 800mi till i sold it. I'd say thats a way to go

I use these and have really good results. Have used one for over a year (Not recommended) and they take about 5-10min to do on the side of the road with almost no tools. They don't work all that well if the hole is not round (glass, razor etc).

Be safe. Take it to a bike shop (or remove the wheel yourself) and have the tire dismounted and patched. A "Plug-Patch" works great by plugging the hole and patching the inside of the tire.

The way I see it, if your going to take the entire wheel off, might as well get a new tire on there for an extra $50-100, wasted labor $$$ to just plug/patch.

The way i see it, what if the tire has very low miles? Sure, replace the tire if it's slick.

I hear you, and have rocked plugs for some time, but the last thing I would want to think getting a flat a long way from home is "awww crap, i could have put a new tire on!!" When that plug or sticky comes out.

EBAY was great tires from $45 with free shiiping,,i gest the scooter shop will charge you another $40m to 60 dlls for instalation,or you can try put it yourself if your good with mechanics,,see youtube videos
