Didn't find any threads on plastics removal
« on: January 11, 2015, 02:22:36 AM »
OK, I have been reading about activating the in panel turn signals and came across a couple of references to a link under the Like with a detailed plastics removal guide.  I just read thru 32 pages and can't find a "how to" except for a "push here; pull there"

Same deal under search

Can anyone point me to the appropriate link-I don't want to break a bunch of tabs, etc man-handling the little beastie.  I know about the plastic rivet trick, but the tabs have me  :o .  I want to install a Stebel so I'll need to be in there
TIA

5 lbs. hand sledge. Hit the bike anywhere, and the front cowl will fall off.

It's always the same story... You have to figure it out. The tabs/screws are all in plain sight once you start taking it apart. If a piece is stubborn... take of the piece next to it, and there will be another hidden screw. I have not seen one single video or documentary on the exact method..

5 lbs. sledge rule... Use a bigger hammer.
