Evening Ride
« on: March 29, 2014, 12:55:31 AM »
I don't often go away from home in the evening.....
But I was good today, and did some preventative maintenance.
Brake bleeding a scooter with things hidden behind panels isn't fun go-fast stuff.
And it's supposed to snow again tomorrow.

So, I went for a weather-related sundown ride to test the brakes, the sliders, the new big-nuts, the new belt, the new air filter and the new Denso!
Mrs Stig said, "Yes, whatever, ...just be careful."

A nice young fellow on a motorcycle pulled up and asked if everthing was OK. I said, "Yeah, just taking some pictures."
He said, "Yeah, that's a cool idea!"

And, I'm feeling a little peculiar.

I love this scooter. The crash bars make all the difference in the overall looks of it. I wish they had the blue/white color combo at the dealership when I got mine.

It is a very nice scoot. If only I had more money and a dealership near by.

Once again nice pics. I know this is your means of transportation to work but, I think it's great that you enjoy it so much. A gentleman in another department rides a scoot to work and complains about it. I wish I could scoot to work. The ride in would be fine but after 12-13 hours on the job I wouldn't be on my game and feel it would not be safe. An attitude of gratitude brings many things.

Sounds like something Mrs. Kreps would say too. She's not too excited about my new S8 150. I plan on posting picks of my rides too. Can't wait til things look a little more "alive" outside. Makes things look better.
