So I guess no one dumped into anything aftermarket yet?

I was at a bike show and talked to a pro about how much it would be to redo the rear and fronts.  He said he would basically respring the front forks, and then modify an existing rear monoshock to make it fit.  All in all it would probably cost in the neighbourhood of a grand.  Pricey pricey.  But you would be a completely different handling bike when it is done.

I don't think it would be worth the $$$.

I'm sure you could get it to fit, if you have very deep pockets.

The more I read about making it run faster, the more I'm convinced that this isn't the bike to do extensive mods on. Probably best bet is to save up for a bigger bike...or wait till kymco gets a Quannon 300cc out on the market (now wouldn't that be awwweseome?!)

YEah... I hear you... been looking around online last couple of days...

found this... http://www.yasusu.com/pro_moto01.htm

seems to be most promising so far...

I ran into a guy who had a 125 cbr and he got a shock out of thailand for like 140 bucks.  Sez it's like night and day.

If I do a mod at all this winter, its going to be suspension...(and maybe a jet lol..if it works outhehe)

Quannon / Re: What is your Quannon top speed?

I'm interested to see how your jet kit works out... very intrigued.  I was reading about the sprocket you got too... keep us up to date!

BTW... beat my own speed... 129km/h... can't get it past that.  Thats 80mph in your imperial standards :p  hehe

Be careful when your doing this btw, the limiter and/or the fuel delivery may kick in and you get an immediate power loss... basically don't do it in traffic.

Yeah... I should do that next round of maintenance too...

A friend of mine once took apart his car brakes without knowing what he was doing...so he took a photo everytime he took something off, went to the photolab to develop the film (remember that stuff??) and then did it in reverse according to photos.  Might be waaaay easier to do now with digital.

LOL!!!!

k dude... I just read this....  Maybe it really could be how you're starting it... If it always starts with the mech...but not with you??  Why would you spend on parts if it works everytime someone else gives it a shot?
