I have just got my new belt, airfilter and oilfilter from Taiwan Big Scooter Shop!
Everything looks genuine but the belt only messures 19mm , just as wide as my present that have 9000km.
Wrong size?

Edit: messured again with a tailors band and, 24mm wide and 1009mm long

Tv, the clutch has two bearings: radial sealed ball bearing on the outside, away from the gearbox and a needle roller bearing on the inside, next to the gear box. The outer, being sealed, should retain its grease until the seals fail. The inner has a separate seal that should hold the grease from getting into the cvt case and clutch but will have no control preventing grease from migrating inside between bearings.

Great! Thanks Karl 👌

My first DT had 20000 MILES when I had to replace the belt because the winter mice had blocked the CVT cooling inlet with birdseed and the belt had started to disintegrate from the heat. Also there was that squeal when the clutch disengaged that was fixed with a real small dab of grease on the inner clutch needle bearing. 'Course I had you guys that calmed me down and reminded me of that bearing! All that to say this: I personally think 20000 km is way too soon. It is a real safe distance and sells more belts.

Karl

Hello Karl
Could you or anyone else explain in words or pictures where exactly to put the grease?

I tried to google it and the swedish reseller bounced me back to the english ebc site with the high shipping cost, so i will go to my dealer and get the originals.
Better safe than sorry, brakes are important ☺

Hello
I overfilled my oil a little bit, it is about 3mm (0.12 inch) over the crossed marks on the stick, must i do something about it or just leave it.
When i filled it the oil in the engine was warm, had only 20% of the stick, now when i messure its cold.

Hello everyone!
Yoday i have changed back to orginal rollers from DrP 15g.
I have driven 800km with them now and wanted to try the orginal again to compare the difference in rpm & acc .
As i remembered so were the orginals quite nice with low rpm and good acc but with the shaky starts.
I also checked the oil, looked good, but forgot to screw it back, more to that later..

After driven 50km in different traffic i must say i already miss the DrPulley, they really are so much nicer with quicker acc, the same rpm much better acc and much less stuttering on start. So they will be back asap.

So back to the unscrewed oilstick.
I tock the bike to work 5 in the morning and it was no wind, 15 celcius, perfect for speeding. After 15km in 120km/h i saw lots of smoke in the rear mirror and thought to myself: whats wrong with that car behind me, drove a couple of km more and i still saw the smoke but no car behind me, hmm
I got to stop and see if it is from.
Stoped and put it on center stand saw nothing from the cvt and got around the bike and saw that the breaks, wheel , exhaust and engine was full of oil, panic!
Luckily the oilstick was there against the exhaust but the oilhole was fully seen, and it was only 100m to the gasstation.
Wiped away the worst oil and checked the oil, 20% left, so fast to work.
After work removed exhaust and cleaned with degreeser and high pressure water.
And filled up with oil.
The rear break i of course in no good condition with all that oil on the breakpads. But that i will fix when returning from vacation in Bella Italia with lots of pasta and redvine 😎!

I am really happy even though i was so clumsy 😯 With all that oil on the rear tire in 120km/h it could end a compleatly different way! 🤕

Be safe friends and have a great weekend

Seriously. That's how I do it.
Lifting it up abit to get the notches to turn thru will make it easier.

True that 😁
Just make sure its fairly clean and no stones in there before tvisting/turning
