that is what I like about the 300i DT. light Wt. 366 lb. T max about 500 lb. I would like to try the 300i gt for the 16 in. wheels and more foot room for my size 12.s so I am waiting for them to get to canada., would it have a lower center of gravity then the DT. easier to pick up if ever it laid down,  ???

Last summer I ran out of gas at 356 Km. just over 200 miles,  on my way to gas bar I hit a detour ,  now I cant go so far because I have a top case and if I plan on returning late at night, I install my side cases, for the lights,  I fill up at 260 Km. now, Im getting to o;ld to push now,   I JUST PASSED 28,000 kM. while the roads were clear of ice and snow,  last night we got a foot of snow , no more riding for a while, then it going to   -25 C.that I thnk is  -5 F. ,

not counting shipping exchange rate ,  british  $ 3999 Lb.s =canadian 6,500 $ I dont know if the price listed includes value added tax which is 20%,  would have to call them and do some horse trading ,   I think it will be better to wait till kymco sends ABS brakes here,  the premium for ABS is 500$,. when it is available,.

Im 79 years old , worked over 40 years outside bare hands on metal siding, all year , for riding I use leather work gloves insulated, from Princess auto. in ottawa on. canada my ride was 20 km. in to ottawa and about 30 km. , took long way, back roads home, just the tips of fingers were cold when I got home, my gean,s are insulated from Marks wearhouse next door to canadian tire, longer rides I would put on my leather pants over the gean s, the road was dry except for side streets they were icy,

I was told this morning to put cycle pant clips on to stop the wind from going up my pant leg.it was 10 below 0   C.  I was trying out the upper foot rests, and sliding my butt way back,. that did not last long ,  keeping gas tank full with 94 octane in case I cant ride for awhile,  no ethenal,  summer time I use 91 Octane,  it is a good excuse to go for a ride into town,

my idea is use powdered grafite for locks,  good for all temperatures ,  had a nice ride today , it was 6 below C. this morning, and 50 km. later it was 0 C. home now and the temp. dropping to 15 to 25 below C  tonite,. we are on the edge of a cold front,. to bad it is going to snow again, I hope not to much, as long as the roads are dry and clear I will go for a ride , no side streets to much ice,. at 79 I will not take to many chances,.      the golden hawk 300i D.T.  2011  just past 28,000 km. about (18,000 ) miles

I just wired mine to the running lights, the ground wire is wired in, and the power wire is not , just taped to the ground wire,. I think you would have to change the bulbs to  LED.s then run wires to the mirror wires,. when you have the front clip off, that would be a good time to install HID headlights, low beam , I dont need high beam with HID.s       and that would be a good time to wire in a battery charger wire, tha makes a good plug in for heat gear or tire pump if you want, have lots of fun & ride safe,   Joe

on your tires look up the name , size  and look up the tire it will tell you the rating , mine are pirellis good for 116 miles per hour,                                                                   your mph or km. are switchable, as mine are on the downtown,. how tight your nuts are it should be in your manual,. I just tighten mine hand tight, same as car oil drain nut, and get a spare compression washer for oil plug
