Quick update. The exhaust has finished processing and is being shipped now. The variator and BBK kit is being processed. I'm waiting til next month to order the carberater. Just waiting to save the money up.

Special note to BandL, I will be purchasing the carberater and manifold plus the jets from you. I will take the newer carb you showed me.

Thanks for all the advice. You and the others here have been GREAT!

Thanks for the plug chop link. I'll tear down the cvt sat am & tale a look.

Also made contact with Louie! he's a really nice guy.

Parts on the way!

70cc Molossi BBK (SPI)
Molossi Variator & spring (SPI)
Technigas Silent pro exhaust(Racing Planet)

Pockets to shallow for the carborator at this time.
Thinking of waiting 'til I get the carb so I can do as much prep work as possible.
Then bolt it all on at once. Trying to keep my downtime as short as possible.

Reached 450 miles today.
The odometer on a 2013 Like 50 2t is in miles not km.

Derestricted bushing is in. Am hearing a light tinkling noise. Sounds like the starter gear is just a tiny bit engaged. Any ideas?

Doing the variator bushing now. When I button it all up besides using lok tite on the bushing nut should I use it on the cover bolts?

Tomorrow I am going to put in the derestricted variator bushing. So far I've been running rich.
The bushing came with a jet. Do I have to put that in or can I wait until I put on the new exhaust and rejet then?

As always thanks.

Sounds almost too easy. Well I ordered the exhaust from Racing Planet. $128.00 seemed a fair price.
Still no luck with SPI. Gonna keep trying but I am getting antsy. So use the dremel tool and make a few cuts. No welding, right?

Looking at the Silent Pro exhaust pipe and is says it needs to be derestricted to get more power. Two spot welds near the manifold flange and a small pipe in the silencer body. Is this a difficult mod?

Just got back from Becca's. Feeling much better.

I did buy a Craftsman electric impact wrench so I am set there. Will give it another shot when I have the time. To be continued......

Good to know about the Blue lol tite. I didn't think of that. However, I didn't get that far. I couldn't get the CVT cover off. Took out the 10 bolts easily, but the cover got stuck between the frame and the housing. Right where the 2nd bolt clockwise from the CVT vent hose was. I didn't want to force it. So I
bolted everything up tiight. And here I am.

Cyclepedia shows the entire engine seperate from the scooter. Is there a trick to it, or do I have to dismantle the scooter further?

Disappointed and tired. Gonna go see Becca.

Thanks again for all your help.

Signed up for cyclepedia. Thanks for the reference. It will come in handy.

Sucks about the odometer being in Km. But oh well.

What kind of tool can I use to hold the drive pulley so I can loosen the nut a tighten it with out
damaging anything?

It's a 14 mm nut right?

Thanks for the info on compatibility. I'll keep trying.

I'm at 344 miles on the scooter so far. Been thinking about redistricting the variator bushing.
Should I wait for 500 miles. Or go for it.

Take a look at the other posts. There is a whole bunch of information on jet size. I have been reading all of them and learned tons. Been reading some posts 2 times or more. I am a newbie but you sound like you're doing OK. Better rich than lean.

Still playing phone tag with Louie. I do have a question regarding to nomenclature for the Like.

Like 50 2T
KE-10AA

Is it he horizontal or upright engine? What is the engine designation? And what other models (example people 50) signify the same engine/transmission parts?

I just want to make absolutely sure I'm ordering the right parts.

As always thank you.
