Like 50 2T / 2 stroke vs 4 stroke throttle cable

So I got a malossi kit PHBG 19mm a while ago, I can't seem to get the minarelli carb cap off of the throttle cable. It's pressed with brass cover and the other end does not screw off it seems. It has two slots on the top of the cap but they don't seem to do anything. So, I found a throttle cable that lists it is compatible with the Like 4T. I'm not sure it'll work with the carb but I'm thinking that the cable is probably the same for the 4T and 2T. Anyone know?

I am pleased to inform that I got everything replaced with no damage. It just took a little bit of elbow grease.

Too late now. It's already been replaced. That was my first method. I could very well be wrong but it was not coming off with the correct socket. It generated so much torque the contra spring expanded.

Thanks, I didn’t know how to get around the size restriction for the photos. So the case is different then diagrammed and I think I need to pry it off at this point.

Like 50 2T / Stuck on final drive shaft replacement

I am attempting to get into the gearbox so I can change the drive shaft but I don't know how to open it. I have the service manual and it's vague. What I have is different from all the how to videos and text that I can find on the subject. Inferior to the crankshaft is a part I've never seen before and have no idea how to remove. Anyone know what that is and how to open up this type of transmission? Much appreciated.
I can't seem to add any pictures. Hopefully someone knows what I'm referring to, it looks like a long case minarelli and the dimensions seem correct. The left crankcase has three bolts by the drive pulley and it does not appear to support a panel, so I think the right side must be removed. The right side has the part that attaches to the brake cable and then is the "hammer drive anchor?"

Yes, it is. Thank you for taking the time to find that, I really appreciate that. I guess a better way to ask is, "Should it be double sealed? single sealed? does it matter? is one way better? Do the oil seals always match the bearing dimensions?" That kind of knowledge I don't have.

I cannot seem to find anything on the bearing dimensions we need and which type is best for the drive shaft that I recently mutilated. I think it is 6201rs, does anyone know? Could someone explain what the variations mean as far as function? I get what the numbers and letters stand for. Thanks everyone.

I'm trying to 1) get the nut off. I guess I have to repeat PB buster and heat repeatedly. I acquired a torque wrench but the instructions advise not to loosen fasteners. or 2) I'm going to cut the rest of it off. There in lies the question, going off of

Like 50 2T / Water pump?

I found out today there’s a connection for a water pump hose. Apparently it’s not uncommon. Does anybody know anything about it? Paperwork says it’s a Like 50 2T, is it just a different engine?

This one, which is similar to others. I'm not the smartest person in the world but I couldn't find a way it would work without some modifications. It was not the right length or on the same plane. I took some washers and put them in between the tool and the frame; then I used vice grips on the top part to hold it in place.

I can not find anything about removing the starter on scooters that resemble the Like. I looked in the service and owner's manual , the descriptions are vague at best. I know where it is, I just can't find anything about the best way to get it out. Any advice and/or pictures would be much appreciated.

I got a locking tool that I swear doesn’t fit from buzzetti. I can’t find anything online about it. Also I are we reverse thread?
