With that, I reckon having the belt at the outermost part of the pulley would give you the lowest gearing possible. making for better launch.

Yup, I would agree with that sid. My belt is fine once its on, sits just where you said, I just need to slide the belt into the rear pulley a bit to get over the variator boss tho. Once its in and I turn over the engine it settles back to normal, outside edge of rear pulley. Def think my belt is ok for now, maybe change it after summer.

longer belt is Gates Boost  (9802-21407)
shorter original Kymco: 23100-KEB7-9000

they should matc we didnt try and had no measure possibility but eye
