my GF has a scooter, we have gone for ice cream and other similar rides for pleasure, we have also gone grocery shopping, surprising how much you can fit in a scooter before you even add a milk crate behind the rider. between what I can fit in my 1550 pelican cases on my v-strom and what my Gf can fit (more than my V-strom), we can shop for a month in one trip, but going on rides... I bought a K-pipe so that we are more evenly matched, instead of me in 1st gear all day
