...gonna drain the fuel, and i guess imma get my first ever look inside the two-stroke carb....

..i got spark...won't kick start...no starter motor..plug gets wet...getting fuel...

..taking the starter off the a50 now..gonna give that a try...

...FIRED!!!!...engine sound awesome..however...

..smokes like a freight train!!!...shut it down...cant fire it again...plug is solid black and wet....

..is it fouled??

Smoke is nomarl to some extent the autochoke takes a bit to settle down if fires again let it worm up. Might be a bit of moisture in the mix and who knows whats in the pipe,buy a hand full of plugs  ;D

Back to basics plug cap and such,kill switch disasemble and clean.There is a fuse in the glove box check that

...yeah...i'm getting ahead of myself...

..it's just that i was stoked!!..when it fired right up with the starter...smoked, but sounded great...gotta get the starter back on the A50 for the morning ride to work....

..hope it makes it...

..was hoping to ride the people.....

Fingers crossed I haven,t had much trouble with this model they can be a pain after sitting though.You do have to pull brake to use the starter

synthetic 2 stroke oil dosn't smoke nearly as bad . Good luck . Keep us posted !

..it's been in storage for nearly 3 years....i expected some smoke...but this was a full-bore plume...got rid of the mosquitos for a good long while tho...lol...

..then i just shut it off...will not spark since...got 3 new "Autolite" NGK equivalent plugs...

..hopefully it's just a connection or a switch....fuse is good...

..not gonna mess with it much more tonite, except for charging the battery, as it started to drag toward the end...

..gettin plenty of fuel..the airbox got drenched...

..that little engine really turned up quick!!!

..think imma like this ppl once i get'r runnin'.....
