Strange clock problems
« on: April 01, 2015, 02:33:08 AM »
My clock has been behaving strangely for some time. Once in a while it'll work fine. Sometimes it'll be very dim. Often it'll be flashing different parts of the numbers, at different rates. Sometimes completely blank.

Thoughts?

Most likely the battery. The clock has its own small lr43 watch battery. If it's not that, the whole clock is only like $30 to replace.

Thanks, replacing the battery worked. I went with an SR43SW battery. Same size, but it might last a bit longer.

While I suppose it wouldn't have been a huge deal in the long run, I'm glad to not have had to pay $30 for a new clock, especially after having seen it taken out.
