I asked you about that a year ago... Those HIT clutches suck. Its a fad.

why do want to wait for some gimmick to "lock up" when a Stage6 locks up exactly when you want it to.

It's like buying a Sunday, and they bring the cherry after you're done.

I snapped a crank before because of the HIT clutch. Big bike 180cc gy6 the bike locked up really hard, bit the crank seriously exploded out of the case and destroyed a new kit lol. Dr pulley clutch and vario are on Craigslist right now.

2001 "Yamaha" Zuma AKA MBK Booster; MHR OverRange, Dellorto 19mm BHBG, Polini "big" intake, RS-3 Rear shock, Stock cylinder.

There you go... If they made tougher pads it would be perfect. I mentioned I wore the pads off in a one mile run.
It was the ultra low gearing that did it (6:1) but if they were just a bit tougher...

The Stage6 MK II I mean.

I can see the Dr. Pulley causing all sorts of drive line shock issues. A snapped crank is about as extreme as it gets.

It's an ok clutch but I found its either really extreme engagement or slips a LOT it's very hard to get the Dr. Pulley in the sweet spot.

Makes perfect sense. I imagine they would be brutal for City driving. Even highway driving when you are not under a real load could be an issue. I never tried them because of those thoughts.

Plus the gremlins telling me not to do it. Different issue completely.

I've got gracie, my 05 stock s9 MKII dialed in at @7200 off the line...with the malossi vari with it's 9gram rollers with the gates belt, she holds @ 7500 up to @ 50-55 ind..then edges on up to @ 7800 over 60...

I really liked the DrP at first, but adjusting it is a bitch!...weights and springs and more springs and positions and damn...too much involved...   :o
