Just got an 08 Super 9 on Friday. It is completly stock and it tops out at a little over 30mph, 28mph or that mark on the speedo when it's flat. Of course I want to derestrict it. I ordered the boss from scooter therapy (thanks to sparko). I have read on here that the CDIs are and are not restriced? I went to the link that chaz posted on the universal gy6 no rev limit CDI and it is out of stock. I found the same one here
