I have to admit, my well documented gripes about the seat are the main reason I keep eyeing the 2012 Tmax, assuming it even makes it to the US. However, since Canada is getting it and there is currently no 2012 Tmax on the Yamaha site, my hopes have risen that we will get be here too. Still not sure if it will be worth the $$ and the mpg's to change. Thinking of trying to find a shop that can customize the seat.

They are not cheap, but they make the best touring saddle in the world, (BAR NONE). Russell day long touring saddle. I think web site is Russle products? I have owned 3 of them, and they are a dream to set on. I would say around $650.00 for a scooter as the seats are big and long. :-*

It would be nice to be able to take a ride on the new beemers (600& 650), the new Tmax and the My Road. No other way to compare comfort, power, MPG and so on. Gilera in Europe makes an 800cc scoot also I hear. Would be nice if all of this stuff came here, USA.  :-*
