Universal power steering unit.

Has anyone installed a universal power steering unit on a Kymco 2022 450i Platform. I did some research and it seems the Platform doesn't have the bracket on the frame to mount the unit. Also how much modifying would need to be done? Is it worth the trouble? Thank you for any information on this.
