NSR: ladies trip while I'm confined to Ohio~!

Pup and I are doing hard-time (yardwork) in Ohio while wife and daughter (and female coworkers) are enjoying this!...along the Gulf of Mexico!

I'm not putting the pup in the kennel ever again - so, I'm not going to Florida again until she passes.
She knows how much I like Florida....so, it's probably making her a little nervous :-)

My daughter says it's like herding cats, to get the older 3 back down the beach after their evening issue of Pina' Coladas!

we've taken the dog to the Atlantic twice, the Smokies twice and lake Ontario once. None of us enjoyed it all that much.
Now the Mrs is talking about going to Paris - to see my old stomping grounds. No Way with a dog! not even looking into it - anymore, me being German borne (US Army hosp to a mom from KY and dad from OH - but that doesn't fly anymore with ICE), and one from the blue state of California - there's a good chance we'd not be let back in!

Know what you mean Stig, after the last experience of kennels for our pup we decided never again - he’s temperamentally unsuited to it. So, if eldest daughter can’t come down to dog sit, we ain’t going. Dogs are here with us this week for our break in Yorkshire. They love the coast here!

As for Florida, it’s about 20-odd years since we had a Disney-based family holiday there which we enjoyed, but I do think there are many other parts of the States I’d go back to first.
