Kymco G-Dink 50 CDI restricted
« on: July 18, 2025, 08:36:43 AM »
Hi, I'm new to this forum so I hope I'm posting this in the right place, reposted because the other one wasn't right.

My scooter is a:
Kymco G-Dink form 2017 2 stroke
70CC polini
20mm carburetor
Vario form Malossi
White spring form Malossi
Tension springs red
Exhaust Tecnigas next-r

Everything works fine, but my CDI is limited to 8000rpm and my powerband is 8800rpm.
I looked for other CDI, but I have an 8 pin I couldn't find anything for my engine SF10R.
The only thing what I found was the Naraku NK390.35, but that is not suitable for engine.
I tried the Naraku CDI, but the scooter started with difficulty and cut out immediately and sometimes had a backfire.

Who can help me remove the limiter?
Or have ideas how I can fix this?

Welcome here!
There will be no success to be seen in this matter.
This 50s are restricted for several reasons. Have a look at the 50 2 stroke bullet here further down in the forum.
Its not only a legal thing, but also a reasoning in choice of size and quality of materials used by producers for road worthy vehicles.
