And you reckon it always rains in the UK?!  For the record, today the sun is shining on the righteous here in Yorkshire :)

Sunshine here on the Northwest Washington coast, but the day is starting cool at 37 F.  Will get in a ride when it warms up some.

I figured the yellow areas meant sunshine was headed my way - so I started home.

And I spoke too soon.  It's been raining hard all day so far here in East Yorkshire.  Noticed last week that the Yorkshire reservoirs are full to brimming so no water rationing - 'til June at least  :D

On the news at lunchtime they mentioned that Cambridge in the SE of England they've had more rain in March so far than the whole of the rest of the winter months* put together!

* I'm guessing that's October to February!

Regarding that photo -

I noticed, when checking the rain radar - that it was like 7:27 ....and official "sunrise"

Here, California seems to be refilling it's reservoirs - the hard way. With flooding.
Things were getting pretty sporty regarding who's going to get the ground water out that way...
