I know about a big farmer in Iowa who still has to sell about 80% of the previous season’s maize crops - while the current growings are at about shoulder height already. Since the Covid outbreak crop prises are down, but they need to sell in a rush to make space in large silos on the farms for the next crops coming as early as September this season....
