Laminar Lip
« on: February 19, 2010, 11:07:33 PM »
Anyone here with a '09 or '10 Xciting interested in a Laminar Lip.  I hear great things about them.  Laminar is looking for someone with one of those machines to stop by their place to get measurements on the new wind screen.  Laminar is in Santa Ana, CA.

If your not interested in Laminar, but you've got one of those scooters.  I'd like to hear what you think about them.  I starting to deal on one for this Spring.  I'll be trading my People 250.

I've had an Xciting 500 for 11 days. I really like it. Nice power to weight ratio. Looks very cool.  I haven't had it up very fast.. maybe I can get it to 60 mph this weekend.

I am moving up from a Scarabeo 250.

This month is 2 years with an '07. Mileage is 28,000 miles. I like to ride her. She is my main source of transportation. Other vehicle is a bicycle.

I like the combination of being an excellent city and road scooter.

My other vehicle is a Cool Vanilla PT Cruiser. I also have a 10 speed bike, and, until it sells, a Scarabeo 250. I plan to be on the X500 as much as possible.

After a number of emails to Laminar, I'll be sending my windshield (when I get the X500) out to Laminar to have them fit a lip.

I'm going to miss my People 250.  It's taken me over 12,000 miles without a problem, but I just need a cruiser now.
