Cool, I hope you're right. I did realize after I posted, if the short was before the starter the starter shouldn't be bad.

Zactactalee. It'll just be minor.

I installed the lifts at this AAA. Check out the second picture. Lifts are still standing. Oh yeah!

The lifts that were installed with a Harbor freight impact driver no doubt! If it weren't a tragic story it would make a good commercial for them (Harbor Freight)

I love the electric impact from Harbor freight! We do use the impact to tighten the anchor bolts, but we also go back and torque them to 110 ft lbs with a Harbor Freight torque wrench ;D.

So with the starter relay. Can I get one at the hardware store that will just plug right in to the factory harness? Or is it just a universal one? Will this work:

Doesn't say it's for a people but the terminals look the same.

Don't use the ebay one. You don't know how it is hardwired inside. Could short the system. Get a Bosch, or Cole hersey at any auto parts or hardware. Your "plug" will not match but you can remove the wires with the connectors from it , and plug them right onto the new relay. There will be one unused post on the relay when done.

There is a schematic on the side of the relay showing what goes where.
