How do you change the variator and which sizes and what stuff do I need.

My best advice would be to get a copy of the service manual for that scooter. It will walk you through that and many other procedures. Good luck!

do a search on the fourm it well show you a few ways. I do it with out a impact.but you have to know the tricks to geting it off. hard to tell u on here.

Impact wrench would be very useful but not necessary. Check out youtube. Someone did a great 4 or 5 part tutorial on derestricting a Yamaha. He used a Boa constrictor strap wrench--looked so useful in that video that I bought one myself.
