Kymco Quad 300i Air Filter vs DT 300i Filter??

In writing to K&N Filter's, they said they hae filter's for the Kymco 300i Quad. Is this by chance the same filter as the Downtown 300i?

Can you send them some photos and measured dimensions from your current filter and have them check?  Or have them send you a technical drawing of the Quad's filter. 

Who knows... if you confirm it for them, you will open a larger market for them.

Usually Quad/ATV have a quite different (sealed) air intake due to deep potholes or river crossings.
Or compare the parts at http://www.kymco-ersatzteile.de

Man, when is K&N going to make an air filter for the DT300i?  It would be about the same price (LOL!), and I'd LOVE to get rid of that giant, horrendous airbox.
