Never say never, rain ride

I thought I'd sworn off deliberately riding in the rain at night....
Yeah, well.



Got pretty sporty when a front went through. No pics - raining too hard and I don't have a rain case for my phone
Kept my phone in a sandwich bag inside pocket of my mesh jacket. (much too warm for the rain-proof overjacket)
Blow was over as quick as it came - but within a mile I found evidence of tree damage.

rode my AK to the doctors yesterday, 90° urban traffic, I was hoping for rain, probably should have driven my truck with AC

Stig, I wonder if you got the storms that came through here yesterday....hurricane force winds and 2.5 inches of rain in the last 24 hours. Crazy weather that had us in the basement waiting out the tornado sirens.

still hasn't rained yet, thunder in the distance, hot, humid, my 40 year old AC isn't keeping up, medical expenses have eaten into my mini-split fund and I'm pretty sure I hear the bear family outside. awake at 2am
