First 2023 ride
« on: January 04, 2023, 08:41:54 PM »
My cruising speed in the dark & wet, in the boonies where antlered mammals live.
On this scooter with its 55W headlight .....between 25 and 30 indicated. (5 mph slower on the LIKE with its 35W light)

Always nice to arrive at the clean, warm, dry rest-room in town!

Nice ride .....weather - not so much!

After talking to my wife about our AAA coverage - I then called Progressive Insurance to check on my "Roadside Assistance" with them. I'm covered for my needs...so won't need the expensive RV rider w/AAA. ($10 a year for my scooter w/Prog.)

And, I'm feeling a little peculiar.

Glad you're covered Stig  It certainly adds to the reassurance factor.

First rides of 2023, pretty tame. Temp for me COLD!!!. Cruised around town, and just enjoyed being on the scoot.
