I'm not a big fan of black and white so I prefer color.

Depends on the subject matter, no one can dispute the beauty of Ansel Adams' Yosemite landscapes in B/W. I do like your color photo best though. ;)

For the Fall, color is a must (for me), but if going black and white I would go with a deep focus long exposure to get the full gradations of tones and values throughout the picture.
