Hesitation
« on: April 09, 2014, 01:51:17 AM »
I'm getting some hesitation when riding around, usually when there's a heavy load on the engine. At one point there actually was a muffled pop, a brief loss of power, before the engine continued to run. I've got a 2010 with 1,300 km on it.

Any idea what's happening?

Check all the vacuum lines going to and from the engine and gas tank and make sure none of them are crushed or bent.

I serviced my bike 1 time and when I reattached the rear shell 1 line was crushed.   At high speed maybe only the last 2 or 3mph of top end the bike had it would just cut out engine would have no power and exhaust would pop I would have to slow down to around 50mph before the throttle would come back.

I put 1oz of Techron in the tank and so far so good. Then again the improvement may be due to warmer weather.
