Nice video but it again shows that North Americans in general just doesn't see the scooter as an everyday vehicle or as a serious vehicle at all. Also the way our cities are set up it goes against the scooter and more towards larger displacement motorcycles. And realistically only the bottom third of the continent is capable of scooter riding everyday. And even then cities are so spred out that its only a 150 or larger thats safe.

I'm use to loud exhausts as my wife and I ran StageSix ProReplica exhausts on our 2t Vinos and those things were loud wife could hear me from a block away at WOT
. Also my ZX50 runs a Technigas Next-R and its a low rumble compaired to the StageSix.
I was looking at a couple of Technigas that i can order from a site here in Canada for less then $200.

I do and I don't. most times its just my coworkers/father just being idiots. A couple of them did give me a hard time til they found out what I can do on my lil 50's now I get respect. Most cyclists Motorized or not just look at me with disdain because of those bloody electric bike/scooter sh** look-a-likes at any one around here can ride but have no clue to the rules of the road and drive everyone(but themselves) nuts.

doing a little research it looks like the 125 and the 300 use the same body and frame but whether or not the engines are mounted the same(top or bottom) it hard to tell without seeing both engines mounted in the frame.
Save time energy and find yourself a used 300 if you are looking to upgrade engines.

the artical says "Chain Drive" but the pictures that shows the left rear quarter with the rear Tyre(Second row Right picture & Sixth row Left Picture) I see a belt drive not a chain.

as with the auto industry the motorcycle industry is now being told by the governments to protect the end user for their own stupidity as to how they are using said products. to the point where the products are safer but way more expensive then they need or aught to be.

I have both one of eahc and the ZX i Have can reach 70kph but it has a little more left to give just trying to release it gearing lets it down the most I feel.
the Super9 I have will hit 75 odd kph but still in the process of gettin the CVT just right.

Super 9 / super9 lc help

okay guys new problem. Put a new contra/torque spring(Polini +20%) into my super9 to try an eek out some more top speed and hill climbing. now i've gone from 74+kph on the flats to 61kph with my hill climbing speed about the same. but my rpm's have gone up by 1k on the flat(9k) and down hills(10+k).
The rest of the CVT is pure stock with the rollers at a stock 8.5g. I have extra rollers in 7 & 7.5g weights as well as a Green Malossi spring

watching the video and reading the news article I would kind of side with the local police on this one. in the video i did notice that most of the bikers that were "fleeing" did not have any plates on their bikes and that some not a lot were actually stopping for the police. Its like up here when they do a "ride" check during the holidays checking for drunk drivers only the guilty try to flee.
By the sounds of the article all the police wanted to do was weed out the illegal drivers. blocking the path and trying to check drivers is not illegal but the use of extra force may to too much.
