For nuts and bolts I use the silver Permatex Anti-Seize Lubricant #81343
For brake caliber pins I use green Permatex Disc Brake Caliber Lube #85188
Can get at most auto parts stores like Autozone.

I use the cheapest grade E10 (87octane) and average 65MPG (but I work at it). Once a month I'll put in some stabilizer or Seafoam. I think keeping fresh gas in them is the key. When I was riding mine to work daily it was a fill-up every 3 days. That kept it fresh. It's a 2013 with 10,000 miles in it.

Also, is your mic outside, or inside your helmet?Yes, the Drift Ghost S with the color set to VIVID and 720p 60fps. I got the Drift mic and it runs inside my helmet and tucks in around my temple. The mic setting is on low and even then I can't place it by my mouth or it'll just be too loud. Unfortunate cause moving it up into the helmet decreases the engine noise. I get the feeling that nobody's setup is perfect but this one is pretty good. Still need to do some scooter mounted video tests and see what happens.

Should have known better because there was no engine noises and other back ground noises.No I was using a mic connected to the camera during the ride. It's a hard balance of getting good voice yet keeping away the wind noise and then again trying to get engine sounds.

« on: August 26, 2016, 05:33:18 PM »Hmmm I looked at that Crossbolt, the weather seal is intact and okay, but I think the rubber just misses the micro switch when pushed. At least I know how to fix it.That was kinda my feeling too.
