Maybe not enough cranking amps if it will jump start every time.
Otherwise I'd suspect a bad ground or evap system if it has one

I live close to you, over in Whitwell.  You buy the white gti that was in Lebanon Tn if so that was a good deal. I got a 2012 black gti was going to get that one but got my yearly bonus and looked on market place and the add was gone.

They got to sell the exprenice of just twisting the throttle in your in the wind.  Scooters are not sexy or masculine so they need the how riding one feels.  Like Honda did with you meet the nicest people on a Honda add campaign when motorcycling was thought of by Joe public hells angels.

No marketing at all may have seen some adds in motorcycle rags but even there gone now.  No social media at all Google cocktail recipes and get bourbon adds every where, holy crap Google boots and you will have pop ups on boots.  Look up a scooter review/parts nothing not the 1st pop up trying to sell me a scooter.  They make sense new set of wheels with a factory warranty for less than $6,000 for a 300cc scooter that can take you coast to coast.  Throw a backpacker tent in a duffle bag 1,200 mile round trip to some random state campground for less $100.  There's nothing like a chilly ride on a spring morning curve after curve then going east into raising sun and that chill melts away.  Riding around your neighbourhood smelling the grill of a cookout fresh cut grass honeysuckle on some back road.  That should sell

You should get up with klaviator he's here but a lot more active on advrider.  He does a lot of rides in ne Alabama and mid to east Tn.  I'm just over the mountain in Whitwell but I work a lot and mostly ride back and forth to work.

I've got 26,000 on mine no trouble. I think bv350 is a better scooter but a lot more money and you can still buy it new.

I used it one year works great but left a sticky residue even after wiping down that attached dust/dirt and I'm worried about dirt between moving metal surfaces.  I coat all my hinges chains locks whatever around the house works great no rust.

I have a 300 so I can't tell you about the top speed.   They have great brakes, 16 in wheels makes it ride motorcycle like.  Lots of room if your tall.  The bad is fuel tank under the seat.  Very little storage

Scooterpartsco.com has the best prices and quick shipping.
I had to rebuild my gti300 variator and went with all Malossi. So far so good.

Need to make sure battery is 10 or 12 amp per hour not cold cranking amps.  I had a battery plus battery in mine the cranking amps was a good bit higher than factory battery but battery light come on almost every time when starting it for only seconds and light might have dimmed some.  I got a motto battery (yellow battery) with the correct draw and no more battery light when starting.

I don't know about getting the old parts back from the reviews  left on yelp I wouldn't wast my time with them.  You need a authorised dealer to look at  it.  Myself I would be looking for a bad ground/connecter pinched
wire.  Your battery light does it turn off now?

Think your main problem is a shop full of monkeys.  I bet your rectifier or stator has gone out and it''s not charging.  They let go out the shop door that way.  New fuel pump on ebay $40.00 maybe they bought some kinda of assembly with injectors or something.

I'm not sure about your scoot but on the gti 300 you lift up the rube boot and loosen the big nut and just unscrew the mirror stem.  The little nut under the plastic cap is left along
