Agility 125 / 3 years of sitting - Need carburetor part number
« on: March 16, 2017, 02:59:26 PM »
My 2009 Agility 125 has not  run in three years. Going to attempt to restart it this Spring.  New Battery, New Gas New Spark plug, New Fuel filter, New Carburetor.

Does anybody know the part number of the carburetor? If its around $30 might be easier to replace rather than clean.

Also is YTX-7A -BS  the correct battery. I cant find my original one, took it out last year and lost it.

Agility 125 / Tire change
« on: July 13, 2013, 11:57:46 PM »
Here are some pics of my weeekends tire change.

My advice. Just do it. Its way easier then it looks. The only thing is I took the tire to a shop to have the tire put on. I tried putting the front wheel back on the rim myself and ended up damaging the tire, Had to buy a new one. But it cost $60 to mount a tire if its on the bike and $25 if you bring in the tire off the bike. So I ended up still slightly ahead money wise.

I got Michilen City Grips. So far they feel pretty good. Not a dramatic change but I am hoping for better rain riding.

I repainted the muffler with Engine heat paint. Right where the muffler comes off the engine the paint burnt off but still looks fine on the main body of the muffler.

Agility 125 / Mirror extender
« on: May 03, 2012, 01:08:13 AM »

As we all know the OEM mirror gives a realy nice view of your shoulders. The extenders for sale only kick the mirrors out about 2 inches.  So I made my own. They seam very solid so I am not anticipating any fatigue issue. The components are aluminum and a stainless steel bolt, and locking nut. $3 for the fasteners and about $3 for the aluminum bar. So $6 for two or $3 a piece.  If you are going to try making these...ebay for the material, and the bolt is M8 x 1.25, ACE hardware. I will eventually paint then black.

Agility 125 / How to change tires...video???
« on: May 01, 2012, 05:36:53 PM »
I have 7800km on the OEM tires. Still plenty of thread but want new ones for better riding in the rain. Several of the local shops wont touch a scooter and the ones that do want $60 labor per tire.

The back looks easy but what about the front. I tried looking for some good how to videos. Can anybody point me in the right direction or offer advice.

Also I am looking at Michilin City Grips. Traction isthe only thing I care about.

I removed the 8 bolts holding the crank case cover on. I need to check the belt and cluch. I cant seem to break it free. I have hit it with a dead blow hammer and dont see anything else holding it on.  What am I missing? ???

Agility 125 / First start from winter storage
« on: March 14, 2011, 12:56:39 AM »
Preping the bike for a ride to work tomorrow. Uncovered it and started it up. Its a 2008. I did nothing for the winter storage. Put the bike away in Oct with no battery tender and no stabil in the half full tank. It took about two minutes of trying to start it but it eventually did. Then I had to let it warm up for about ten full minutes before I could ride it.  After a trip tp the gas station and back I think we are good for another season. The starter was making a bad noise just before it started.  I think in the fall I will do a better job of winter prep. I have 5100km on it will no issues so far.

Technical | How To / Agility 125 fork squishy sound
« on: July 28, 2009, 02:32:09 AM »
My 2008/09 125 Agility make a swishy liquid sound when full front brake is applied and I push down on the front, like would happen in a moving stop.

I went to the dealer saturday and tried to get the same thing to happen on the 3 Agility 125's they had on the floor.  They felt tight and didnt make any sound.

A guy a work said it sounded like a fork seal failure.

The manual and Kymco parts on line just show the whole fork assembly for $91.  What if its just a small part that I need to replace.

I am going to ride it for a little bit longer because I dont think I am damaging anything.

Anybody have a similar issue. I need to get better instruction on how to fix this. ???  Fork seals are non warranty wear item.

Agility 125 / Agility gas milage
« on: March 31, 2009, 12:48:58 PM »
Just put the third tank in. My milage is 72 mpg.  I am hoping this improves after breaking in. I was hoping for low 80s but I ride it very wide open most of the time.

OK after 10 tank fulls and 1,273 km I am averaging 72.36 mpg.  I got 151km on the last tank and topped off with 1.19 gallons...not much left in the tank that time.
