General Discussion / Re: Scooter info for a future owner
« on: October 16, 2011, 04:45:38 AM »
Thank you for you reply.  A little background, I have owned a total of four motorcycles ant two 50cc scooterse; verything from a 50cc Honda to a Honda Gold Wing.  I am currently riding a Honda Nighthawk 750cc.  I have had it for the past ix years and probably haven't had it on the freeway more than a couple dozen times and most of those times service streets and rural roads were available to get me where I wanted to go.  In January I will be 80 and most of my riding now is around town and a scooter will better suit my current lifetyle.  Oh yes I weigh about 190 lbs.

General Discussion / Scooter info for a future owner

I am getting ready to become a scooter owner and would like some suggestions or thoughts on various models.  I am considering a new 2009 Agility 125, a used 2006 B&W 150 or a new 150.  I have narrowed my search to Kymco because I like what I read bout them.

This should have read a 2006 B&W150.  Maybe that is why I have had no responses.

Bet & Win 150 / 2008 Bet & Win 150 specs,

I am thinking of buying a used 2008 b&W 150 and am interested in getting some of the specs.  Such things as is it air or water cooled?  What is the actual c.c. size of the engine?  What is the gas tank capacity and average MPG?

Also is it a good buy at$1550 with 9900 miles or would I be better off buying a new 125cc Kymco?    Any other comments will be appreciate.

Agility 125 / 125cc or 150cc

In about one or two months I am going to be in the market for a scooter and am debating between a 125cc and a 150cc.  What is the advantage of the larger 150 cc?
