Yeah that's true!
By the way I put a 0.2mm spacer ring in front of the bushing and that improved accelaration and overall power too now. Great scooter for 2

Hey there!

When I ride a loong hill up, along with my gf, my LIKE 2t starts pretty well up the hill but then after about 10 mins it loses power noticeably (still ascending).

Is it the spark plug getting too hot?
Or too too lean at WOT?
Any idea?

Definitely. I changed the orig Like variator after 1 year (4000 km and after I felt it eats the roller weights alive) for a Malossi one. It is a whole new scooter...given you changed the clutch spring also! Much smoother accelaration (keeps the rpm steady) and in my case also higher top speed. All just by a new variator. Spring and weights were included in the malossi package

Oh

same happened to me three times already with my tuned scooter and I was always lucky. you just have to play overly stupid about tweaking and working on your scooter.

Mine definitely was restricted. It didn't run over 35 mph and after replacing it, it did. Anyway you can just cut the pink cable on a restricted CDI (Kymco Like) and it should work unrestricted but I heard the Naraku has a different ignition curve...I am pretty happy

yes, kymco like 2 stroke. I found my unrestricted CDI on ebay!

There is a 2-stroke CDI from Naraku that I found online and replaced the Kymco restricted one. Works perfect! It was a little more expensive that the 4 stroke CDI.

Oh that's interesting! Congrats to your 200

I am one of those who are limited to 50cc unless I get a bigger license, higher insurance etc. and I am pretty happy with 50cc here

I achieved 46 mph top speed easily with simple tunings anyway.

I am in love with the blue Like model which they only sell as 200cc, right? I would like to know if the suspension feels different on the 200 and if there are any differences apart from the engine and brakes that feel different to the 50?
