GLV55, we moved here from Illinois 2 years ago and absolutely LOVE it!!  The Grand Mesa is one of our favorite drives, and we're especially looking forward to it on the scooter!  Also, the Colorado National Monument is high on the list. We always see Bighorn sheep up there!  Life is good in Colorado!!! :)

Thanks Stig!  The Blue Angels plane is on display at the Grand Junction Airport.  Thought it would make an interesting photo :)  Actually did go to the Air Force Academy Graduation last May in CO Springs.  Talk about planes……!

After moving to Colorado 2 years ago, we bought a trailer and camp as much as we can.  This year we added kayaks & scooters to our outdoor hobbies.  I am also a vigil volunteer for Hospice.  Photography has always been a passion of mine, and we're in the perfect state for that! (imho)

Congratulations!  I just finished my MSF yesterday, and have to say, it's well worth taking.  I have about 9 mi on my 200i, so I have a lot of breaking in to do as well.  Enjoy, ride safe, and post pics from your adventures!!

There are lots of handsome pictures there of all kinds of LIKE scooters taken by the fellows in that club....many are the black variety.

My neighbor has a black LIKE 200i, his wife has the red one.(They told me that they made this purchase after watching me ride by their house so many times on my blue/white LX version....and thought "That looks like fun!". )
His is a pretty handsome scoot - actually- I like all of them!

I'm going to be nosey...why did you folks decide on the Kymco LIKE, if I may ask?

Stig, to answer your question, I did a lot of research on the internet.  This forum was incredibly helpful, btw.  I couldn't afford to spend a great deal, but wanted something reliable.  I found as many reviews as possible and found that the vast majority of Kymco riders are very pleased.  With the type of riding I intend on doing, the Like 200i seems like it will be a good fit.  Thanks to all of you that post, it's become my evening read!

Hi fellow scooterists!

Just wondered if anyone out there has photos of their black/blue metallic Like 200i?  We just ordered one for my husband this morning, and would love to see some photos (other than the ones on the Kymco site).  I got a new red one last week, and think the black should make a nice addition.  Thanks in advance!

Hi Thursty!

Congrats on your recent purchase!!  I too have just purchased a shiny new red Like 200i!!  I start my Motorcycle Safety class tomorrow evening, so I haven't been able to do any street riding.  I have, however, been spending a decent amount of time in the church parking lot behind our house. ;D  I am so excited about it, that I just ordered a 2014 black one for my husband.  It didn't take too much convincing after he took a few laps on mine!  There are so many scenic byways here in Colorado that I think should be enjoyed on 2 wheels. 

Btw, I take it you are "down under".  Please post photos of some of your scooter adventures.  Enjoy, and be safe!

Congrats to your wife on her new ride!  I too am a newbie and picked up my new Like200i this afternoon, with my MSC next week.  Living in Colorado, there are so many scenic byways that I can't wait to explore on two wheels.  We have a scooterist group here that I'm looking forward to getting to know.  I'll be sharing photos along the way!  Happy scootering to your wife!!!

Hi Lido!  I too am a newbie to the forum.  I just purchased my Like200i last week and did a bit of research beforehand.  I went to the Kymco site and found a promotion on 2013 models.  The program is called "Kymco Kash" that goes until 3/31/14.  I believe the discount on the Like 200i was $300.00.  At least that's what I got.  Hope this helps.  Now I have to wait until my class that starts April 3rd.  It feels like forever!!!  Best of luck in your negotiating!

Hi Big Blue!  Sorry I neglected to include your name in my last post.  Yours is a beautiful scooter!  I'll just have to resign myself to the fact I wasn't able to get the white/blue, and enjoy the red.  Right now I'm trying to come up with a name for her.  Anyone have any ideas??
