You need to do some investigations when it stops.
Take with you some tools(including gloves)
Ride it 10 miles.
When it stops check the carburetor fuel bowl for fuel and/or fuel level.
Pull the spark plug out and check for visible spark.

Your exact sensor should have usable specs you can test.
Find the temp sensor specs and test accordingly.

Take your carburettor off from the inlet manifold/motor.
recharge your battery.
Press the starter button to crank over the motor.
Let the motor turn over 4 or 5 times and then start to spray little squirts of cold start engine start spray.
Tell us if you had some combustion noises!

Check your spark plug for unusual burn patterns ,exspecially those of a overheating engine.

Practice how to take out the  carburetor drain plug of the bike within minutes, do it while the bike is running normally and gauge the amount of fuel you drop.
If the plug is normalish, ride it somewhat normal to hard.
When the problem happens dump the fuel bowl to gauge how much fuel you had.
If you have the same amount as normal then its not fuel delivery.

If you can remove fuel delivery as a problem your one step closer to finding the cause.

This is not the stock kymco muffler but its design is similar.

Steel fabrication
Welded at both ends
Small header and exit pipes.

Question- has anyone cut one open?
Where did they cut ?
Did they re-use ?
Etc etc
Any fore-knowledge would be useful .

I would look to relieve the exhaust restrictions first.
The header pipe may be restricted depending on your exhaust valve size.

Then check the inlet manifold and intake valve size variation.
Small intake manifold negates all carburetor mods.

I would have bought a 125cc variant rather than big bore kit.

The 50cc project bike i have seems to have a very limited exhaust header size and exhaust valve size.
The stock carby is adequate for the motor into the upper revs, but the inlet manifold is a limiting factor into higher revs.
The inlet valve size seems adequate for most of the usable rev range.

The cam can always be tweaked and offers a bolt on solution for some of the port/valve combo short falls.

I guess you need to know your motor.

did you try cold start spray into the open inlet manifold while cranking your motor?
If you get some combustion noises when testing you can look for fuel delivery issues then.

 150PSI x 0.07 = 10.5 KG
So im down on compression.
Im thinking the inlet valve is not seated correctly or a combination of problems :-[

Infact that whole  webpage for agility 50 is my exact motor type

Everything in the top end seems tight and clean.Timing chain=tight, valve stem/rocker clearence=minimal but has clearance.
The only conclusion i have with the carby reverse air turbulance is the cam profile allows some overlap that sees a portion of compression pulsing into the intake chamber.

Im really new at these small simple motors.
Can anyone put to ease m ponderings on the intake pulse as normal??

Im guessing now its a stock item
Im also guessing the electronic  device is a electronic choke.
Does anyone have a better pic of that choke ,maybe i can manufacture the missing spring and parts in there?

The agility 50 was working when a friend had it.
It stopped working and i have taken it as a project.

The spark plug shows a spark.
The fuel tank had water in it but i cleaned it.
Compression is 150psi.


Im a bit concerned about the way the compression seems to create reverse air turbulance in the carburettor.
When i spray cold starter spray into the carb the motor wants to start but i can also see the spray being pushed back out the carby intake.

Is this normal?

Im trying to not to throw money into this incase its never going to be operational again.

The carby seems to be in good condition ,except for the electronic device attached to the carby.
It appears as though there may have been a spring and pin jet set up inside of it, but these parts are missing.
I dont know what year it was made .

Any help with technical data drawings/manuals would be appreciated.

Also the reverse air turbulance inside the carby???

I took the rocker cover off and the cam area is well oiled.
