When a man comes to a certain age, he begins to see his life back and realize more and more that such "stupid" things he did were to be one of the best things he did in life .... Life is too short to be a man who is trapped by fears ... And to figure out that when a man enters the autumn of his life, which comes very quickly .... Good for you Stig,  great adventure!

Well, I can't be angry at Kymco Croatia, they gave me enough money for trip, gas and camp, so....And I rather sleep in camps than in hotels... ;)

My dream is to go across the USA, East coast to West coast, it would be great, some route 66 ( what's left of it ) and beautiful nature...

I also love the idea of small cc scooters, though I am a huge fellow (6'3", 275lbs) on a 163cc Kymco LIKE 200i LX. 55mph is as fast as it will go, and this is 20mph faster than I prefer!

Reading your story makes me think this: Scooters are fun all across the world, and the world is a big place - but a small place too because we share so many thoughts and feelings!
How many miles did you put on your scoot? Any troubles with it?

I'm big guy too. 190 cm and 91 kilos. It's like 6'3' and 200 pounds.

Kymco that u drive is great bike! It has everythin' that I like 'bout bikes - low fuel consumption, air cooled engine, and it's rather big :)

Well, Tom, when I started this trip Kycmo had 2 kilometers on it, Kymco Croatia gave me a brand new model to go on this trip, they sponsored me :) When I came back I gave my scooter back to them with little less than 5000 kilometres on it :)  People S was really great on this big roadtrip, trip lasted for 21 days :)

My name is Ante, I come from Croatia, beautiful country in southern Europe. Been driving motors for many years, I began with Tomos Automatic :)

This summer I was on road trip through nine European countries ( Slovenia, Italia, Austria, Liechtenstein, Germany, France, Luxembourg, Czech Republic, Hungary ) and passed 5000 kilometers with my "Little Beast" - Kymco People S 50. This is my blog about that trip, I write it in English and Croatian, I hope that you will like it.
