Just an Fyi on Provoscooters, they don't seem to have much priority when it comes to sending out their orders.  I ordered on a Thursday and didn't get shipping notice till next Tuesday but it wasn't actually shipped out till Wednesday!  I was not very happy since I was in dire need of the Carb I'd ordered.  Just my experience hopefully yours will be different but for the money we pay for these parts and the shipping costs you'd think they'd try alittle harder.

BTW Streido, I think you did the Roller --> Slider conversion wrong...you generally want Sliders that are about 1 gram Heavier than your Current rollers.  So if you use 5g rollers you would buy 6g sliders.  Quality sliders usually last Much longer then rollers so may be worth a shot and I too like the Acceleration curve on Sliders better.  Goodluck to ya

General Discussion / Re: Super 8 50 4T Gear up kits?
« on: August 09, 2012, 09:11:03 PM »
And I thought that getting a Super 8 50 4T w/ its 14" tires would only be a plus...guess I would've been better off getting something w/ 12" tires for Gear kit accessibility.  Bummer.

If anyone has any info on Gear-up kits or anything gear wise w/ the Super 8 50cc 4T please let me know.  There have been alot of peeps asking this question or something similar over the past couple years on many forums but i've yet to find any good answers.  I can't imagine there is absolutely nothing available as they are very nice scooters and Very reasonably priced for the Quality Kymco delivers...I must be missing something (I hope)!

As for a possible work-around, wouldn't I be able to get a larger rear tire than the current 120/80 14"...like a 150/80 to give me a little more top end since it would make for a larger circumference?  What is generally excepted as the largest Width/Height for a Super 8 Rear tire?

Just as an FYI, my current setup is: 2009 Kymco Super 8 50cc 4T w/ 89CC Naraku 52.4MM Kit, Big Valve 51/52MM Head, Hoca Performance Cam, Naraku Traffic exhaust, 24mm Carb, Large performance Intake, Koso variator w/7g rollers, and several other small upgrades.

Thanks

Hey Klaviator, what are you using for a windshield?  I'm looking for one for my Super 8 50 but not sure what'll fit right and what's best size-wise.

For the original poster, I agree w/ everyone else saying you should be able to find a new 150 Super 8 for around $2,500.  I see you got one already for a bit more, but as long as you're happy w/ it.  Just make sure they take care of you if anything goes wrong that could be covered by the Warranty!

LOL Zombie, nope not w/ RP.  Wish I was for though for all the sweet scooter parts!!  I'd just noticed when I was strolling the site that it was back in stock and remembered the fellow scoot enthusiast on here looking for the 2T version instock anywhere.

My Naraku Traffic should be here next week but its for my Super 8 50 4 Stroke so I don't have any knowledge on how the 2 Stroke version performs.  It's has a nice under-stated look to it so it shouldn't stand out for those who are concerned w/ the police.  Hopefully it's performance lives up and it would be a great 2T sleeper exhaust option for those that don't want anyone to know their scoot has modifications  ::) ;)

General Discussion / Super 8 50 4T Gear up kits?
« on: July 27, 2012, 08:55:48 PM »
Hey guys, i'm trying to find any Gear-up kits available for the Super 8 50 4T.  I've found a bunch on sites that will work w/ the Agility, People, Filly, Etc but nothing that includes the Super 8 4T.  I've noticed that some different items on these sites don't list the Super 8 as "being Compatible" when in fact it would work fine w/ it...Example 139QMB Variator that obviously works w/ Super 8 however its not listed.

Basically, HELP  :'(  I'd really like to find a Gear-up kit that'll work!!   :D  Thanks a bunch

Anyone have any knowledge on any gear-up kits available for the Super 8?  Not even sure if the Naraku 10% gear kits works w/ the Super 8.

Thanks

Does anyone know if a replacement (Non-restricted) Boss drive bushing for an Agility 50 4T would fit on the 50cc Super 8 4T?  The part number is 22105-GKAK-901.  Thanks all.

Definately need to upjet.  Try out that stock jet you drilled out to a 97.  That'll be much closer then your current if you have a Uni Filter and that exhaust.  Not fun learning the Hard way :'(
