Has it been standing for any length of time.. I would suggest you need to get your carb out and clean and blow it through. Your jets may be blocked

What pipe is it. Your main jet seems a little big in my humble opinion. Try a 95.

Super 9 / My super 9... Pain to start
« on: July 08, 2012, 03:42:48 PM »
Got my lovely 2007 super 9. Fast little scoot and 6000 miles from new.
Using an ordinary battery it sounds as though the battery is dead. Very slow turn over.

Bought a new battery and same thing. Kicked over fine until the kick start decided to break....

Took off the kick and the electric start still the same so I got a big car battery  and jumped it to see and it turned bike over.. It did no probs.

So in short hard to turn over with the right battery but jump off a car battery and it starts fine..

Any ideas?? Thanks in advance

Just cut my 2010 agility CDi and intially it thought there was no differance then I cut nervously deeper! The fact you are cutting an integeral part of the bike makse you very nervous.

Guess what... It worked!! The differance is quite amazing! If you dont see the wire go deeper. I think my wire was quite deep AND I got my daughter to film it so she will put a You tube Vid up today.

30mph up hills. 40 to 45 top speed (I dont want any more)

I also changed the Boss for £10.00
5.5g rollers £7.00
two sizes up on the Main jet £3.00
Cut the CDI £2.00 for a hacksaw.

Just will upgrade clucth springs next week. I reckon I will be happy then and can keep up with traffic and go up hills!

Agility 50 / Noob question

Hi
2010 Agility 50
Done boss, 5.5 rollers bigger main jet. Will top 40 which is great -getting there is painfully slow. Nervous about cutting CDI but will do this week.  If I lob a free flow filter on it what jet size will I need and will this make a difference. Also can someone explain clutch springs. What do they do and do I need a tool to replace them.
Cheers in advance

Agility 50 / Thanks

Hi everyone
Just got my first agility 10 plate and after reading this forum I thought I would say thanks for the amazing advice on derestriction.
I have ordered a new boss 82 jet and will be getting the hacksaw out on the CDI. I have read a few posts to say post 09 plate bikes don't need a cut Cdi just the boss and jet. Any advice as mine is a 2010?

One post from a long time ago said if fitting a bigger jet you need to adjust carb as well. Don't think you do? Any advice?

Thanks again. I think the agility is a fantastic bike. Living in London it makes a lot of sense!
Cheers
