Spring is coming. Rode 40 miles yesterday while it was 60 degrees. Did have Sun & Fun Iowa City repair a small antifreeze leak. Their hourly shop rate is too high. The scooter is floor room condition. Can you believe no snow so far this winter but it has got cold. Riding wx all week, hope it holds.

After looking at the service manual, I could see this was way beyond my capabilities. Had Sun and Fun Motorsports pick it up and repair it. They also did some annual maintenance. Its a little crowded in my garage with my big lawn tractor and 2 scooters than the car behind them. Maybe I'll sell one, well see.

Thanks Bob, I didn't think anyone would have the service manual on so new a scooter. I already downloaded it and it will take me awhile to understand it all.

I bought this scooter new and noticed a small anti-freeze leak. The main tech at the dealer said no problem, that it will happen occasionally also others on the forum had a similar problem. After 2 years and 3000 miles it has grown worse. There is now a small puddle almost every week. It must be coming from the water pump and by now there should be a trail that I can follow to the source. I have no idea how to get to the water pump or how difficult it might be. Even if I can't fix it, at least I'll know what I'm dealing with. Any suggestions!

I lowered the price of my Kymco to $5500 which is firm. Seems the corner of SE Iowa isn't known by many. The question was can I trailer it to a new destination. No, I can't. That's a real problem for most of us.

Found the scooter I've been looking for, a Honda Silverwing. I know, who wants one of those. My garage holds 2 scooters and now I have 3. So, I'm lowering the price on the Kymco to $5500 but that is firm. The Honda Helix is also for sale so whichever one goes first. I never put motorcycles outside unless with a waterproof cover. Don't want to do it though, somebody might steal it.

Good information on the throttle locks thanks. I also stay off the 4 lanes as hardly anyone drives the speed limit anymore. The road along the Mississippi River has cool scenery but you always have to be on the lookout for deer. Today just as I was heading into the trees towards Montrose, one was in the middle of the road. I was 10 feet from it going slow as a lot of times there are more than one before it took off into the trees. The real bad areas I usually have my hands hanging over the brake lever. Last year a guy with a new cruiser (no protective gear) was hit by a large buck. Myself and another rider found him in the ditch. He didn't make it. Doesn't keep us from riding though, does it.

Thanks guy's... I did finally read that the premium had electronic cruise control but did not know that we can't even get it. Why does it have to be so difficult to dig up information. I did ask my dealer to recommend a good manual cruise control and he said sorry, liability issues.

Do either of these scooters have electronic cruise control? The wording they use in some of the features is hard to understand. I think they do....

Sorry it took me so long to reply. I would say my manual cruise control has the same function as your Cramp Buster. The grip does take some effort so I use the cc a lot. My wrist isn't what it used to be. It seems there is always a compromise though. I ride along the Mississippi River a lot and a deer may jump out of the woods right in front of you. The Kymco has tremendous stopping power but you would waste a couple of seconds with the cruise on which is too much. An older man pulled out of his driveway this morning right in front of me. Course I was watching him and easily stopped. Being its so hot I ride early in the morning. Yesterday a beaver flew out of the ditch so fast I had no time to react. Missed me by a hair. Well anyhow, thanks for the replies.
