Hi People,
I have found a site, kymcospares.com, and i would like to know if anyone has had any dealings with this site?
I am a little suspicious of it!
            Thanks,

Super 8 150 / Re: new kymco bogging issue
« on: August 29, 2012, 09:18:42 PM »
Hi, when my scoot was new the lights cut out a few times, took it back and a cracked fuse was the culprit!
As for the bogging, it sounds like the pilot jet is too small, check your spark plug, if it's white, get your dealer to put in a size larger pilot. Shouldn't cost TOO much ;D

A two wheeled vehicle? or do they supply them in America?  It's a long time since i passed my test, consisted of driving round the block until examiner pretended to jump out in front of me, to test emergency stop.... i ended up sideways but wouldn't have hit him... so i passed!!

General Discussion / Re: General politics and economy thread
« on: April 15, 2012, 12:16:00 AM »
Hey fun is fun,
BUT! We are from all over the world, the colour of our skin is immaterial, we all love to ride our scoots, for whatever economics we endure!    Please keep racism out of it!!!!! That only makes you a lesser person!!!!
Let's please stick to the topic of this thread, global economics and politics!
Axy, is obviosly a very intelligent guy, as  are we all, because we opted for what we thought was a mechanically sound scooter, it's not too bad!
Kymco is the natural? progression of a company trying to sell it's products to make money.  They make a reasonable product in my personal opinion.  The politics of China leave a lot to be desired, I am not a fan of capatilism, but comunism does not work because of greed' read Orwells Animal Farm.
Education and understanding ie, give the other guy/gal a chance!
            Peace Brothers.  K

Agility 125 / Re: 2012 Agility 125 Starting Issue
« on: April 12, 2012, 05:04:26 PM »
As it's so new it must surely be a warranty issue? Take it to the dealers. Personally i think it could be simply a fuel mixture problem, too weak, or the choke/ bystarter isn't working.
       Happy safe scooting K

i was being a little too vague there, all the electrical firing system needs to be checked condenser, cdi and lastly stator. If the scoot was charging the battery ok before then stator should be ok.
There should be other threads on here about checking voltage/ resistance of the cdi and  condenser.
Taiwan scooter Assasins have most parts
                   Good Luck K

check it's getting a spark, if weak could be a stator problem

how old is the scoot? if it has some years, it could be a hole in the diaphragm or it could be the bystarter, not choking enough

OK..........so we have all had an OOPS moment.....lets be honest, who's had the biggest oops moment.....eg filling with diesel, not putting the kick stand down right..........whatever, lets hear it, and have a laugh!!!!
My biggest, is not putting the belt on right and mangling the splines on the end of the crankshaft.....i don't use the kick start now!

Kymco 125/150 is geared to do about 60-65 wot. i did a 170 big bore it was fast but only got to 68 indicated before it destroyed itself! and at that speed the belt was climbing over the cvt. If anyone knows how to change the final drive gearing i'm interested
