Just a quick update for this topic: a issue was found with my alarm (which I never used). I will disconnect it for future. I will also remove the heated grips, just to have one less variable.
The bike is still not working but I have hope, and a new electrician on site, that all will be resolved

Yeah, the more I ask a few of them and hear the responses, I incline to not ask them again :)

Tomorrow I will bring it home and try to test it myself. I understand that when measuring stator cables, there should be no continuity and the value between them to be around 0.4. Is 0.4-0.43-0.41 acceptable, or they must be the same value?
Second: what are the values for a woking good regulator?
Third: if stator is broken but the regulator, not...should I replace them both, just to be safe?

But I cannot start it. With new fuse in place, it only lasts 1-2 seconds - not enough time to try to start the motor. :'(

A few days ago, I was coming back from work (downtow 300i ABS 2010). I took some potholes, nothing really big. At some point, after one (probably) 5 cm pothole, after 100m, all my lights turned off and the scooter stopped. I knew that I didn't perfectly secured the battery after a swap, and thought that a cable snapped. It wasn't the case, but the battery was extremely hot. I took it out. Next day, I put a newly recharged battery on it. The display started, but I didn't have time to try to start it -> again all gone. I checked the fuses, and 15A from Charge was blown. I replaced it. Again, all seemed to work well for 2 seconds, then again gone. The fuse was blown. I took the scooter to a mechanic. It checked the wires and none seemed to be broken. It checked the regulator and that one seems to be ok. His last though is that the ECU is broken and needs to be replaced.
Is there a way to check if the ECU is indeed the broken part? Could be anything else? It's a very expensive part, I don't mind to buy it but I'm not 100% sure that it is.

This rubber grommet is supposed to be your engine suspension and should not be moveable by bare hands/fingers.

This stop nut in front has to be tighened (to pinch the damper-rubber) assuming both washers are still there.

If the grommet is worn out/hard/torn, replace it with a piece from any auto shop (OEM not available).

That's exactly the part I was refering. That top rubber (with the arrow pointing at it) is very lose, and there is at least 5mm between the rubber and the washer (which cannot be tighten more from what i can tell). The other rubber is fixed-at least with the engine off and static.

I was looking around the inside of my downtown 300, and found that the rubber parts indicated with the right arrow are very loose (sorry about the description, english not my main language). The metal bar indicated by left arrow is firm, no movement.
Is this a 'normal' behavior? Or should i change those rubbers?

Just for future reference, the red wire from the harness connects to the white wire from the sensor. Strangley enough, two of the wires were made from aluminium and the other two were copper.

I encountered the same problem. One of the cables snapped. But there is so little space there to cut and solder the cables, did you take out some bodywork to have more space?

An update on my problem.
The only thing that i didn't do was to use jumcables from a car. because lack of cables and car :)

The thing that I did, with an advice from a friend, was to keep the starter button pressed more that 1-2 seconds. And after a few rounds of 7-10 seconds, at some point it STARTED!
This was two weeks ago. Since then, no problem at all, started fine even after a few days of unused.

I still don't know the cause, I will think that was gunk in the fuel.....

Now that the problem was resolved, advice me on how to protect those wires and electrical connections, because I want to clean that area (you see how dirty it is around there :( )

Yes, the connection seems very sturdy.

Tomorrow I will try to put some more fuel into it, the most expensive that I can find, to rule out also this possibility.

I tested the old spark, it was present. For the new one O didn't test, thinking that it is new...

I have a 300DT. A month ago, because the weather was announced to be a little bit bad, I thought that is a good idea to put the battery on charger for 1-2 days when outside it was snow. The snow passed, I put the battery on, the bike started from the first key. Get my kid to school, come back to go to work with the bike, it didn't want to start again.
I don't know much about technicalities so my guess was that the battery was in a bad condition. I bought a new one, the same result. I did some reading, checked the stand sensor, check for spark (it was present), still no go. The brake levers are working (confirmed by the stop light).
I bought a new spark (the other one had 3 years of usage) the bike does the same.
This is where 'the internet' is not helpful.
Maybe somebody has a new idea.

PS: yes I know that I can take it to a mechanic but that means a good amount of money that I wished to invest in the bike (evacuation and windshield)

Not sure that I understand completly your question (english is not my language) but curently, my photo backpack weights about 10kg.
With the new setup (that plastic box alone weights 8+ kg and my extra gear another 2) the overall weight will be around 15-17kg. Considering that i want to put it along the seat (like as a pasager) I don't think that it will impact the handling. But maybe I miss something and that's why forums are great to point out :)
