Hi sorry about that . Yes there is a bright blue spark . My son says he didn't mess with the timing . I can't understand how it was running for a few hours then just cut out and would Not start up again .

My son's kymco super9 50cc won't start we have changed the piston and rings as these broke scooter wouldn't go over 20mph changed gear oil was running for a couple of hours then went to pull off on it and it died and won't start there is a spark and fuel in the spark plug the carb is sucking just not sure what to do had to buy a battery as the kick start broke but it worked fine off this please help .

Hi I'm new to this I was hoping someone with more know how than me can help my son's 50cc moped started to play up wouldn't go over 20mph it just died so he knows a little about bikes learning at the minute so we changed the piston and rings dropped the gear oil out because of fragments of the piston being in the oil put it back together the kick start was broke so bought a new battery it kicked up fine it was running for a couple of hours then left it sitting went back out started fine again road it a few feet put it on its stand to shut the gate got back on went to pull off and it just died won't kick up at all now does anybody have any ideas as to whats wrong . We have checked the spark plug that's fine fuel in there the carb is sucking checked that it just won't kick in thanks .
