Xciting 500 / Re: xciting 500 vs burgman 400.
« on: March 14, 2016, 01:50:29 PM »
I currently own a burgy 400, and the scooter club i ride with, the leader have a xc500, the only difference that is noticeable to me is the extra horses. I went from 16" wheels to the burgy wheels, and really don't feel a difference when going over bumps. The burgy is very steady at high speeds and in the twisties, it's very well balanced. Only thing everyone don't like about the burgman is the muffler issue, everytime, you take the tire off, you have to remove the muffler, and there's a gasket in there that needs to be replaced everytime. If you don't you will have an exhaust leak, and most dealers forget that gasket. On the burgy forums, that's one of the main issues, and the cvt, but that's most scoots

will do, and my plan was to buy a Gti 300, but never could find one, when one was available here, I couldn't believe the price, so I thought it was fake and I let it pass. I too prefer the smaller scoots for moving around in the garage, and I never ride on the freeway either, but for the money, the burgy 400 was a good steal. In my area, scoots are hardly for sell, unless buying brand new.

For Sale / 2009 Kymco People S250 For Sale Texas $2100 SOLD

1082 miles, top case, new tall windshield, also have the stock one, 2 new unmounted michelin city grip tires, clear title, never dropped, may have 2 scrapes or so at the bottom, also have some green led lights. On the front panel, is loose, I guess from bumpy roads. Oil was changed at 800 miles, asking price $2100, i can text or email pics, thanks, oh yeah, it's black. If you can see in the picture on the panel just above the round reflector, the panel is loose, from a bump i guess. I was told to use a heat gun to put it back together, but I don't have a heat gun or the skills to use one, so I left it alone. And I added a cup holder too.

Has anyone upgraded or changed their hand grips for some thicker ones, if so which ones. When I ride now my left wrist gets sore. I tried loosen my grip, but I think the small pot holes is the problem

They are planted underneath the black bucket, 2 screws or use the adhesive that comes with them, I did both. The package came with 4 leds, I used 2, didn't know where to put the other 2. I ran the wires through the black bucket that opens up to the engine under the seat
