Yager GT 200i / Re: Cuts out!
« on: July 28, 2012, 02:42:04 AM »
hope they get it worked out.

so far, the only issue i've had occurs in extremely hot weather (100 degrees plus) when the engine is still warm from the last run.

starts up just fine but the idle quickly drops and the engine dies. i've been handling it by goosing the throttle a bit and it settles right in to a nice idle.

don't really consider it much of a problem. more of a little quirk that's easy to live with.

Mine does the same thing in hot weather when I'm doing climbing and it gets hot, if I slow down it will die

I think the Yager gets better fuel mileage and better wind protection.  That bing said, I like the People 300i, only because it is a compact scooter with a bigger motor.  First thing I would do though is add.a windshield.  The other thing about the Yager is that it has a 2.9 gallon fuel tanks compared to the 300i's  2.4 gallons, so with the better fuel mileage, larger fuel capacity, most of your riding being 55 mph, and the $2k less price tag, the Yager may be the way to o.

I picked up my Yager used with only 107 miles on it, so really was sold on it.

Same here, the stock windscreen is good with me, if I got something like a People 300i I would look at a windscreen

Engine is very useful part for each and every type of vehicles. Here I get such nice details about engine. People should check engine light in vehicles for run proper vehicle long time.

Yager GT 200i / Re: New scoot...lots of oil...need some advice

Does the Yager check air density coming in between the air filter and injector?  If it does won't burn it up without the filter is it changes for density.  Now this depends o if the ECU adjusts for oxygen etc, but if it only adjusts for exhaust O2, then it could be a problem.

Glad to hear you have it running well, still need to check it all out.

General Discussion / Re: IM A HERO!!!!
« on: June 30, 2012, 09:44:03 PM »
Im a hero, long story short, I pulled a guy out of the water, a place called Blue Hole in Deland, Florida, he drowned and was about 25 feet deep, I got him to the surface, performed CPR and got him to come to after awhile, an ambulance took him to the hospital and said I saved his life, I told the guy he owes me a Christmas present for the rest of his life, never heard from him again lol

There is only one bulb, it does high and low, unless you are talking about the side running lights.  I believe to change the main bulb you remove the panel just above it, it has three screws with Allen type heads on it, I'm only guessing, I've never done it before, but that's how it looks to get to the main bulb.
